I am a self-taught artist, born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. A professor of Microbiology and Immunology in my native country, I have lived in the US for 15 years and now I reside in Charlotte, NC.

I have continually demonstrated an interest in all facets of art, learning many techniques and painting professionally and for my individual pleasure. My enthusiasm for art has rapidly matured and became my passion for life. Art is a place where I can completely be myself and thrive.

I have built a reputation with requests to commission larger pieces of art on solitary walls and even in whole rooms in individual residences as well as public structures.  My body of work also includes a few set design jobs.

Also drawn to various forms of literacy-based art, I share my art experience with children through private lessons and community projects. I enjoy being part of this process where students experience the pleasure of success through art expression.

I am also a faculty member at the Community School of the Arts in Charlotte.
